At BioCybernaut , they do alpha brainwave biofeedback, also known as neurofeedback. Alpha is associated with a relaxed, unfocused awareness. It is present in everyday activities, but often at a lower level than the faster Beta waves of normal "monkey mind" consciousness. In the 1990's I subscribed to a magazine called the MegaBrain Report that followed up on the topics of the book MegaBrain by Michael Hutchinson (1986).
